Mosquitoes breed in standing water or soft soil and develop form egg to adult Mosquito in 10 to 14 days. They can best be identified by their size, and bite, which leaves red itchy bumps.

Female mosquitos feed on blood, while male mosquitos feed on plant nectars. They are most active at night, and are known transmitters of various diseases. They are often found around standing water sources, such as wading pools, birdbaths, and storm drains.

Mosquitoes Prevention

The Prevention of mosquitos includes the replacement of standing water sources as least once of week, removing unneeded vegetation or trash from around standing water sources, as well as the use of screen doors or other mesh coverings over structure entrances, as well as insect repellents containing DEET.
