Carpet beetles are a small species of beetles which eat carpets, dead insects, wool fabrics, furs, hair, silk, and bones. They can take 1-3 years to mature from egg to adult.

Carpet Beetle Prevention

As they eat carpet and fabrics, they can damage those materials. Prevention of these bugs include cleaning of fabrics that are stored for long periods of time.
