The American cockroach is the largest house infesting cockroach. They are often found in food processing areas or food storage areas. They are active in temperatures of 70 or higher, but can survive lower temperatures

They are often found in sewers, basements, pipes, and drains. Cockroaches are known carriers of bacteria, pathogens, parasitic worms, and may cause allergic reactions.
